Transportation Options

UBC community members have many transportation choices. Getting to and from campus is easy with transit, cycling, and ride-sharing options. There is no need to worry about getting home quickly in an emergency – you can feel secure with our Emergency Ride Home program.

Once on campus, you won’t have a problem getting around. UBC Vancouver is a pedestrian-friendly community with core roads closed to cars. Many amenities are in a short walking distance, such as restaurants, bars, and stores. Of course, for trips longer trips across campus, there are a variety of options available. Finally, there are a variety of housing options for community members, so that you can avoid the commute all together!
